Working Dispatch From Your AI Agent (MCP Server)

Learn how to get estimates, place orders, check status, and more from inside an AI agent like Claude or ChatGPT, using the Dispatch MCP Server

In this article, you will learn how to work DispatchOne from inside an AI agent, using the DispatchOne MCP Server.

Solution: To understand what you can do from inside an AI agent, and how to get set up.

The DispatchOne MCP Server lets an AI agent, such as Claude or ChatGPT, connect directly to DispatchOne. Once connected, you can do the same things you'd do logged into DispatchOne, without leaving the agent or switching to a separate system.

  • Get an estimate.

  • Search for an existing order or check its status.

  • Place a new order.

  • Upload a spreadsheet to place multiple orders at once.

It's a hosted, authenticated connection: Dispatch runs the server, your agent connects to one stable endpoint, and the connection inherits your identity. Your agent only sees the tools your account already has access to, nothing more, and there's no server for you to host or maintain.

How to Get Access

The DispatchOne MCP Server is available now in beta. Connect with your Dispatch account team to get started, or contact Support@Dispatchit.com.

What's Coming Next

Self-serve setup, accessible directly from developer settings alongside the existing API documentation, is planned. There's no date yet, check back or reach out to your Dispatch account team for the latest.

If you have questions, please contact us at Support@Dispatchit.com. A Dispatch team member will reach out to you.
