Marketplace You're Ready to Drive –– Next Steps

In this article, you’ll learn about first steps once you are ready to drive.

Solution: To understand the steps to take once you are approved as a Dispatch driver, to get started on orders.

Onboarding

Once you've completed the Onboarding, which involves doing a Lessonly course about driving for Dispatch, we’ll mail you a new driver kit, including a Dispatch badge and lanyard. Once you receive your Dispatch badge, please wear it in front of customers. You can still accept and complete orders if you have not yet received your badge.

Once we've activated you after this Onboarding (within 1 business day), you'll receive an email to create your password. When you sign into the app you’ll see an orange banner on the screen to learn more about Stripe (Dispatch's payment tool).

You’ll need to view and agree to the terms and conditions that pop up.

When you first switch to Online in the top right-hand corner, you’ll need to set app permissions. Go to the settings in your phone, select the Dispatch app and change the locations to “always allow." You must do this in order for the Dispatch app to work correctly.

Android users will get the below options. Hold your finger on the Dispatch logo and tap on App Info. Ensure Notifications are marked as "Allowed" and Permissions are set to "Location."

If you have an Android phone: Toggle Camera and Location on and allow notifications.

Once this is complete you will set up Stripe so you can get paid.
