Why is my route locked?

This article outlines the purpose of enforce stop sequences in the Driver App.

Dispatch locks the route sequences in the driver app to require drivers to follow the stop and order sequence defined by Dispatch, rather than choosing the sequence themselves.

Route are created to ensure timely deliveries. Although some routes might appear inefficient, they’re designed to minimize your overall drive time and ensure customers receive their deliveries promptly.

Following our stop sequence will give drivers a higher probability of being on time when completing their deliveries.

Unlocking Route
If a driver needs flexibility, they can unlock the route by tapping the red "Unlock Route" icon at the top right of their screen.

When you unlock your route, you'll see the following prompts:

Note: unlocking your route will negatively affect your ability to see future orders.

When a route has been unlocked, you'll see the blue “Unlocked Route” icon, where the previous icon once was. Once a route is unlocked, it cannot be locked again.
