Creating a Return Trip

Understand how to create a return trip.

What is a Return Trip?

A Return Trip is when the driver comes back to the original pick-up address at the end of their route. This might be helpful if you need items from another location or paperwork returned to you.

How to Book a Return Trip

There are two ways to book a Return Trip. On the order form, complete your pick-up and drop-off information. If you have more than one drop-off, continue selecting Add Another Drop-Off until all drop-offs have been added.

  1. At the bottom of the Drop-Off page, you can select Add Return Trip. This will pre-populate your pick-up address and make it the last stop. *You will be asked to enter the weight and number of items that need to be returned.

  2. If you selected Add Another Drop-Off but decide that needs to be the return trip, at the top of the page, select Make a Return Stop.

Click Next and complete the remaining steps on the order form: selecting a vehicle, selecting add-ons, and choosing a delivery date and time. Then, review your order. Make sure all the information is correct. Click Submit.

*In this example, you can see that Chicago O'Hare International Airport is listed as the initial pick-up and the last drop-off.

I've already submitted my order but need to schedule a Return Trip.

If you've already submitted your order and realize you need the driver to return to your location after completing the drop-offs, you can visit the order summary page and click Schedule Return Trip in the upper right corner. A return trip will be added to your driver's delivery schedule as the last stop. Please confirm that the weight and number of items to be returned are correct.

*To streamline communications and save time, we'll do our best to assign your current driver to the Return Trip.

**Your return drop-off will be scheduled as with the ASAP service level.
