In this article, you will learn how to send orders to Will Call within the Dispatch Connect Dashboard.

Place a Will Call Order
From your New Delivery Order Form, to the right of Reference ID, you can check the box labeled Will Call to assign an order to Will Call. This will indicate a customer is picking up the item from your location.
Under Will Call Information, fill out the customer’s information. You have the option to Save Customer to Address Book.
Next you’ll Schedule Pickup. Fill out these details. Choose the date the item(s) will be ready for pickup. For the time frames section we suggest using your location hours. Add any Notes such as “bring your order form, have your ID, pick up at back counter,” etc.
Lastly, decide if you want the customer to get notifications. You can choose for them to get a text, email, or both notifications telling them when their item(s) are ready for pickup. Select which type and add their phone or email address. Click Save Delivery.
You will then see it show up on the Dashboard under the Will Call card on the left side. It will remain there until the order is picked up. It will not move to Incomplete or Canceled.
Customer Notifications
You can set up a notification to send to the customer when the order is ready for pickup. When you are filling out the order details you have the option to set up SMS and/or Email notifications. You then fill out the phone number and/or email address.
This is an example of an email notification.
Complete a Will Call Order
To complete the Will Call order you have two options.
One option is to pull up your mobile app and have the recipient use the signature to complete the Will Call order.
Once you have completed the order it will go to the Complete Orders tab.
The other option is to click the three-dot menu and select Mark as Complete.
Upon clicking Mark as Complete this modal will pop open, auto-filling the recipient name. To complete the order click Complete Orders tab.
Note: There will be a proof of pickup displayed where the customer has to sign for the item(s).
The order will then move to the Complete Orders tab.
Repeating a Will Call Order
You are able to repeat a Will Call order by clicking on the three-dot menu and selecting Repeat Delivery.

When you click into the order the Delivery Details pop-up will display as shown below.
Edit/Cancel a Will Call Order
In order to edit a Will Call order you’ll have to click on the three-dot menu, click on Edit Delivery, and uncheck the Will Call box.
In order to cancel a Will Call order, you’ll click on the three-dot menu and select Cancel Delivery.
Note: You cannot drag and drop Will Call orders from one column to another.
Filtering Past Orders
You can filter your past orders by day, week, month, and year. Once you click on the Complete Orders tab you can select the dropdown to filter accordingly.
Place a Will Call Order via API
If you have an API with Dispatch, you can place a Will Call order from the API.
