*Please note this action can only be done in the Dispatch Courier Portal. These adjustments cannot be made on the Dispatch mobile app*
Log into the Courier Portal and make sure you are on the Dashboard tab. The dashboard tab will show you Available orders and your Active orders within in your network. (shown below for example)
Please follow the steps in order when accepting and assigning orders:
Step 1. Click accept on the order you wish to complete on the load-board in the dashboard menu in the courier portal. ( Please note: you can only accept and assign orders in the portal. Not on the mobile app)
Step 2. Click accept offer. After clicking accept offer you will have 5 minutes to assign the driver.
Step 3. Where you clicked accept on the load-board in the same spot will be an "assign" option. Click assign driver.
Step 4. A dropdown will appear with a list of your drivers. Choose the driver that will be completing the order. After you choose that driver, they will be notified via the driver app that they have an order assigned to them. Ensure they have the order and has access to swipe to start the order process via the app. And be sure all drivers are toggled online. Which can be found on the top right corner of the mobile app.
Step 5. The accepted order will fall under your Active orders on the dashboard. It will have the order # linked and details of the order including the driver you have on the order.
Active orders is where you will also release an order if you are unable to service an order. Just be careful to not over due "acceptance and release" as this can result in suspension or deactivation from accepting orders. We want to ensure the courier and the driver can successfully complete the order within the pick and drop times.
